Symptoms related to the Eye


Symptoms of the eye produce red eye, blurred vision, visual loss and eye pain. These symptoms are caused by local problems in the eye.

Symptoms of double vision can occur from brain tumors or displacement of the eye. The latter can occur with eye tumors, facial fractures or brain tumors.

Bulging eyes can be symptoms of hyperthyroidism or problems with the cavernous sinus.

Symptoms of infections of the eye produce pain, drainage and redness. Swelling and closure of the eye may occur.
