Chondroma is a slowly expanding tumor. It is usually benign. It is formed of cartilage and is generally located within the bone marrow cavity. It most commonly appears in adolescence.

Signs and Symptoms of Chondroma

Chondroma usually present as a non-tender mass in one of the long bones of the arm or leg. There may be pain or tenderness over the mass caused by the friction of muscles and tendons passing over it. It can also produce a lump in the nose from the nasal cartilage. Rarely, it can affect the temporomandibular joint.
