Stress is the physical, mental and emotional reactions resulting from changes and demands in one’s life. The changes can be both large and small, as well as the response to them. Positive stress can be used as a motivator. Negative stress results when these changes and demands overwhelm the person.
Causes of Stress
Many of the symptoms of stress are the result of increases in certain hormones. These hormones can influence emotion, hunger, blood pressure, heart rate and general body metabolism.
