The symptoms associated with this disorder are areas of increased pigmentation in sun exposed areas. The skin may become thickened, or scarred. The skin may also become fragile with the development of vesicles that may break. Firm plaques may develop in the affected skin and injuries to the skin tend to heal slowly.
