The lesions of Acne Conglobata often occur on the shoulder, back and the back of the neck. They form pustules and cysts. The cysts may become large and when they drain, the drainage is foul smelling. Scars are formed in the skin where the pustules and cysts develop. This disorder is distinguished partly by the location of the acne. The disease slowly progresses and is chronic.
